It all started with Carl Jung, a swiss psychologist born in 1875.He studied psychiatry and medicine. A strong professional friendship developed between the elder Freud and Jung. Later, Jung diverted away from Freud due to disagreement on some points on the psychology of the unconscious. Jung has developed the theory of analytical psychology which he is famous for. He developed what is called the “collective unconscious”, which leads to the named different personality types that is the main topic we are presenting here. Jung wrote so many books about the understanding of different divisions of the subconscious and how growing affects different stages of ourselves.

Later came Isable, and they came up with Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). They created standard of personality indicators. Many have done enhancements on explaining different personalities, and creating different tests.
